Teaching Awards

Student Alumni Board Teacher of the Year, 2006. This is an award for the top teacher in a given year chosen by undergraduate students at the University of Arkansas.

Teaching Academy Induction, 2005 - This honor is bestowed upon faculty members that have established a record of excellence in teaching over several years.

Arkansas Alumni Association Distinguished Achievement in Teaching, 2004 - This teaching honor is a university-wide award given to the professor that exemplifies excellence in instruction. Only one teacher is recognized each year.

Fulbright College Master Teacher Award, 2003 - This teaching honor is a college-wide award at the University of Arkansas presented to the professor that exemplifies excellence in instruction. Usually, only one teacher is recognized each year.

National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development Teaching Award, Houston Community College, 1996 - This teaching honor is awarded to those in college professionals in a given region selected by their institutions as examples of superior educators.
